Description Gunter Ohrner 2009-02-07 12:00:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The "Save attachments" file dialog always preselects the root directory instead of the user's $HOME directory.

That's especially annoying if you want to save a selection of attachments; you have to navigate to the correct target directory once for every single attachment you want to save...

In my view probably the best solution would be to preselect the user's $HOME if the dialog is opened for the first time and remember this directory for the current kmail session.

Confirmed in opensuse 11.1 (with kde 4.2.0)

Would be nice if the fix could be backported to KDE 4.2.x.
