Description Michael Grivas 2009-02-07 08:49:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.10)
Compiler: not compiled, but gcc --version = 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

In Greece and other counrties (for example, some areas of Spain), we also celebrate the name-day, more or less like birthdays.
Name-day is the day of the saint whose name you have.
For example, Simon celebrates on 3rd of February.
Since the calendar has the names on each day, it would be helpful to have a notice when someone has the name that celebrates a day, just like it happens with birthdays.

It would be even more helpful to have an additional field in contact names, i.e. a "baptized" or "official name", since -as it happens nearly everywhere, many use a shorter version of their name (Joe, jack etc, or Lakis, Simos etc in Greek) .
