Hi KDE-on-Windows Team!

What do you think about this? I do not have a windows system here. However, I know that libotr exists on Windows (pidgin uses it already). The source code and binaries for Windows are available at http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr.

I got a mail from a windows user recently, saying that he was able to compile the Plugin on windows with only small modifications to the CMakeLists.txt

So... it should be possible and pretty easy to do. What do you think?

If I can help you somehow let me know.

what's the status of this?
now, that kopete 4.5.4 is running smoothly on Windows, this is a much anticipated feature

This is currently on hold until somebody finds the time to integrate libotr and its dependencies. If you can't wait until that happens, you can always try and help us to get this feature into KDE on Windows.
