Hi,

When I tag a message in my IMAP Inbox, the message gets correctly tagged as expected, but if I move it to any folder within my IMAP account the tag(s) just disappear(s).

On the other hand if I move it to a local folder the tag is kept (as expected).

Best

What do you mean with "tags"? Do you mean states like "important" maybe? It so, I cannot reproduce the problem in KDE 4.3.5

It still happens in my system with 4.3.5. If you tag a message i.e. as
Business in your IMAP inbox, and afterwards you move it to another imap folder
the tag disappears. While if you move it to you local inbox then it is still
there. (however if you move it back to your inbox in the imap folder it
disappears again).

Hope this helps
	René

Hello

I have exactly the same problem. Here it happens with custom tags. If I tag mails in the inbox and move them the an archive folder they get lost. Happened in all 4.4 version and now KDE 4.5.1 as well.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
