Description JohnH 2009-02-05 17:23:28 UTC
Version: 0.44 (using KDE 3.5.10)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-23-generic
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Scanning in Gray Mode at resolution of 150 was working fine. Then I rotated an image in the gallery 90 clockwise and the next scan was of extremely poor quality - black and white dashed lines (no gray tones) with a double image offset by 1/8" or so.
Changing the resolution resolved the problem, but returning to same resolution, the problem returned.
Quitting the application and restarting did not resolve the problem.
Logging out and restarting X did not resolve the problem.
I have not tested restarting the machine.
I have saved images, if needed, or see:
scanned at 150 (bad) http://www.flickr.com/photos/30783323@N07/3256099492/
scanned at 151 (good) http://www.flickr.com/photos/30783323@N07/3255269079/
Thanks.
