Description komputes 2009-02-05 17:16:02 UTC
Version: 4:4.1.3-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Seeing the remote cursor in krdc 4 is difficult. The remote cursor is erratic and not manageable. I am requesting a "show local cursor button" for krdc 4.

This is a feature which was available in krdc 3.5, which would resolve this issue. Without this feature it takes 4x-5x longer to do any actions since the user must wait for the remote cursor to render before clicking.

KRDC does support that alredy... There is also a button in the toolbar for doing that. (You are talking about VNC, aren't you?)

Urs, what version of krdc are you using?

These are the buttons I can see from left to right:

Fullscreen
Copy Screenshot
View Only
Grab all keys
Scale
Log Out

"Always show local cursor" is not a button in krdc 4:4.1.3-0ubuntu1~intrepid2

I think you (or your dist) changed KRDC toolbar settings. The action should be right to the "view only" button. You can also find this action in the "Session" menu.

Please report any success.
