Description Dmitry V. Kroupenier 2009-02-03 14:47:37 UTC
Version: 0.99.01 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 4.2.1
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 7.1-STABLE

Knode from KDE 4.2.0 replaces koi8-r characters in message list pane with '?' symbols.
Message body is displayed correctly.
I use koi8-r locale; there was no such problem with Knode in KDE 3.5.10, and all other KDE-4.2.0 application works fine with koi8-r locale, as i can see.
KDE was compiled from area51 repo ports tree (https://kf.athame.co.uk/access.php)

Hello,

there has been some change on the subject in KNode lately. The problem you describe should be fixed as of KDE 4.3.

Please tell us if it works for you too, whenever you use this version of KNode.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
