Description Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2009-02-03 10:31:36 UTC
Version:           1.6.6 (using 3.5.10 "release 21.11" , openSUSE )
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.7-9-default

The enlarge/shrink font menu items have ceased to work and so did any shortcuts defined for this actions. It is still possible to select a pointsize via the font settings dialogue.
ctrl-+:
QFont::setPointSize: Point size <= 0 (0)
QFont::setPointSize: Point size <= 0 (0)
ctrl -:
(no output in parent console)

Please let me know if this still occurs in KDE 4.
Comment 2 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2009-02-04 11:36:17 UTC
  It has always worked for KDE3. Only the latest versions expose this error. Please fix it for KDE3 since many people still rely on KDE3. KDE4 has so many bugs and feature deficiencies that many users do not want to switch yet. Introducing new bugs into the old KDE3 apps to make people switch to KDE4 is definitely not the right way.
Comment 3 Robert Knight 2009-02-04 17:02:40 UTC
Hi Elmar,

Firstly, it is possible that this is a glitch caused by something wrong in a config file somewhere, especially since there were no code changes to Konsole for 3.5.10. Please check whether this still happens with an empty Konsole settings file (in .kde/share/config/konsolerc).

Obviously we don't and you know that perfectly well.

Created attachment 38094 [details]
Screenshot for KDE 4.3.2

Note how different the center screenshot is than the other two. This should select 6x13, but it appears to be selecting a completely different family. Other KDE applications are able to display the Misc Fixed 10, so konsole seems to be doing something different.

This attachment was somehow attached to the wrong bug, please ignore this attachment.

KDE 3 is not really maintained anymore. If you try Robert's suggestion in #3 and it still doesn't work, add another comment on this bug report.
