Version:           Amarok 2.0.1 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Background:
I scanned my collection into Amarok, listened to some music, then quit Amarok.  A few days later, I opened Amarok again and only 1/6th of my collection was listed.  I went to the settings dialog and clicked "Rescan Collection".  The remainder of my collection was retrieved on the *2nd* try of 2 rescans.

The Bug:
When I lost part of my collection list, I also lost the covers for those artists.  When I re-scanned and got the list back, the covers never returned.  I mean no entry at all- not even a blank one.
