I really like the Plasma menu to add plasmoids and set Plasma... you can drag it all around your screen.

I thought we could extend the concept to any Systemsettings menu, or even applications.

The different icons could merge together, or be positioned at any place around your screen.

OnClick it would show the more used options of the systemsettings_ module/ application.

For example, I want that the module "Appearance" to be on my screen (because I don't want to launch Systemsettings to do that. I put it as a plasma menu on one of my screen edges. If I click, it would display "Colors, Icons, Style". I also want Amarok to appear alongside this Appearance menu. If I click, it would display : Play, Pause and Next track...

The idea may be taken from the new contextual menus of Windows7, but I think we can customize this idea to be more "plasmaish" ;)

Plasma 4 has been unsupported for several years, and this is so broad as to be un-actionable, I'm afraid.
