Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages My wife migrated from Thunderbird to Kmail because she wanted to get the whole KDE 4.2 experience - only to find that Thunderbird had apparently not deleted the spam that she thought she had "deleted". Result: 66.000 spam messages in the inbox. What followed was a painful cycle of searching through the inbox for spam messages with the advanced search dialog, followed by a Move to "Deleted Items", followed by a delete from "Deleted Items." As one might expect, moving around the spam mail from folder to folder was slow. She tried to delete directly from the search dialog, but did not find delete in the menu, and DEL & SHIFT+DEL had no effect. So it would be great of the search dialog would allow direct deletion of all the mails that matched the search.
