Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs When using Konqueror's "File Management" profile and navigating with the tree view on the left, directories that are deleted on the right may not update until konqueror is restarted. To reproduce: -Create a folder (Temp) -Create two folders within it (Temp1 and Temp2) -Double click on the Temp folder to show Temp1 and Temp2 in the tree view. -Delete Temp2 -Delete Temp1 Temp2 will disappear from the tree view, but Temp1 will not. Collapsing and reopening the parent folders will not change this, and clicking the non-existant folder gives a "file or folder doesn't exist" error. Nor does reload get rid of it. The only way is to close/reopen Konqueror. When deleting 5 folders, only the first disappears, so the change is only appled. The behavior is the same whether using delete or "move to trash."

Could this be related to bug #48944 ?
It also happens when renaming a folder as when deleting the folder (tree view is not updated and an error message tells that the directory does not exist when clicking on the old folder name). I'm using KDE 4.4.1 on Gentoo Linux.
