Description Oliver Putz 2009-01-31 10:27:44 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 81.1",KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop /openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-9-default

I think dolphin should add a feature to tag all files in a folder recursively.
Say I have a structure like University/CourseXX/files. I would like to tag all files in University/* with the tag university. This however, seems to be impossible right now. I rather have to go to each CourseXX subfolder, mark all files and add the tag university. I then have to repeat this for all folders. If CourseXX has further subfolders the process gets even more cumbersome. Currently, tagging a folder, only results in the folder getting the tag, not its actual contents.

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719

Moving to BalooWidgets, this could be achieved with a checkbox in the Add Tags dialog if the selected item is a folder.

Yes, this feature would be great
