Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When I select a wallpaper from the predefined collection - from the combo box - the wallpaper changes but right after if I point to any button the text disappears on it. The texts from the right-click menus, KMenu are also disappearing. I need to re-log to get back the texts.
If I select wallpaper(s) from the File-dialog then it changes properly - and after I can select these wallpapers again from the Combo-box without any problem.

I can't confirm this with trunk.

Today, after updating to Version 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 88.4" the problem seems to be gone.
