Hello!

This is a return of the old "kopete cannot show messages with smileys" bug. It gotten worse I think, because I dont have smileys on and I still cannot recieve messages with them.

Smileys affected includes, but not limited to, :O :P and :-P. When recieving such (even when theyre sent from a person NOT using custom smileys and rendering of smileys are off)

Say a friend sends me "I got a new book :O". I will see "New message from Name: I got a new book" in the popup. Clicking it will show an empty message.

This happens independent of window theme for kopete, independent of smiley theme and even if smileys are off. It also affects as said normal emoticons and is not limited to custom ones.

This is from Fedora redhat kde repo's KDE 4.2 (final) but occurs in Kubuntu's old 4.1 (or did when I used it) too.

Steps to reproduce:
* Find a friend (I tested this mainly versus another Kopete user, maybe that's the prob?).
* Send a message using the smiley :O

Maybe I should add that I have a new home directory, so there is no "migrated settings files" that could cause this. I have another user name too.

Do you use OTR protocol? If so disable it and everything should be ok.
