Description Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-01-30 09:48:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Currently I haven't connected AC adapter to my laptop and battery is around 59% charged but when I click battery monitor widget, it shows battery status 59%(fully charged). Doesn't that look conflicting? I'll attach screenshot.

Wrong battery status

One more thing is for 100% charged status it is showing charging. Is it correct?

Do you always face this problem or only this time? And also, does the battery monitor in the systray have the same problem?

Any way to reproduce this?

Thanks

I've moved the battery monitor from systray to desktop. Right now it is showing proper i.e. 100%(fully charged). Yesterday I followed these steps.
1. Remove AC adapter.
2. Let battery discharge.
3. Check status.(59% fully charged)
4. Connect AC adapter.
5. Let battery be fully charged and check status. (100% charging).
