Description Rolf Eike Beer 2009-01-29 20:38:27 UTC
Version: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 82.4" (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 82.4", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-git

If I install a new root certificate (e.g. CAcert.org), close konqueror and open it again no root certificate shows up anymore. In fact konqueror does not even show the preinstalled certificates. Nevertheless they are still there, websites using them as CA are treated as valid.

Same things happens with Debian packages.
Comment 1 Rolf Eike Beer 2009-01-29 21:07:17 UTC
It seems that he even forgets the newly installed certificate as he still keeps me asking every hour if I trust a CAcert.org signed website.
Comment 2 Richard Bos 2009-02-07 23:59:20 UTC
I'm interested to see this working too (did not test yet whether I see the
same behaviour, but I guess I'll as I have the same openSUSE and kde).
Comment 3 Jan Kundrát 2009-02-18 15:58:17 UTC
I see a similar behavior on KDE 4.2 from Gentoo, with the difference that I've seen at least some CAs at the beginning.
