Version: 4.2.0 (using KDE 4.2.0) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux I'm seeing the panel getting "corrupted" by the file tooltips in Konqueror (or Dolphin). To trigger it you need to: - Open the file manager (with tooltips enabled) and hover a file with the mouse pointer so that it shows the tooltip. BUT, this needs to be done in a certain way so that the tooltip actually covers the panel (that is, the file should be in the lower rows and open downwards from the file, not upwards. I'll attach screenshot to show this first step). - The just move over other files to show other tooltips and look at the panel getting corrupted (partially disappears). I'll attach second screenshot to show the corruption. I'm using KDE-4.2.0 from Arch Linux (basically vanilla). The corruption is plasma theme independent. I have an old intel IGP (i845 - works fine with Linux). If you can't reproduce it let me know and I'll try to narrow down the specific settings needed (though my install is hardly customized). Thanks.
Created attachment 30712 [details] screenshot 1, first step. First step to trigger the bug: cover the panel with the file tooltip.
Created attachment 30713 [details] Screenshot 2 - panel corruption Actually, the corruption is bigger, but got partially fixed by ksnapshot.
