Description Nathanael Gogniat 2009-01-29 12:47:34 UTC
Version: Current (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Each time I load my KDE desktop, I glow from happiness about that wonderful peace of art kde has become.

Everything looks just nice and looks the same way, the polish is great.

When I open Kontact, my Joy disappears.

Mostly the Headers of Mails and Newsfeeds, but also some other things just don't fit into the beauty of KDE

The plain rectangular boxes with outline, sharp corners etc... are just reminding me of the past century. It looks strange in this polished desktop environment, just out of place.

I think best thing would be to contact the oxygen team, so they can make it look more fitting, prettier and more decent.

Just my two cents....

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
