Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Compiler: gcc 4.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs KDE 3 had the possibility to use postscript filters but I cannot find the same feature in KDE 4. Maybe this is due also to abandoning KGhostView in favor of Okular. I googled a bit if there are any plans to reintroduce it but the only thing I found regarding KDE 4 and postscript filter is this: http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-print-devel/2007-September/001935.html Please reintroduce Postscript filters if possible. Thanks.
> Maybe this is due also to abandoning KGhostView in favor of Okular. This has nothing to do. Basically, what happened is that there's no more kdeprint in KDE 4, but we use the crap^W limited Qt4 system.
This is definitively a disadvantage again KDE3. Filters should be usable in KDE4 again. Why should we get worse results with better technology?

Some news about this bug: http://liquidat.wordpress.com/2014/02/18/kprinter-available-for-kde-4/
Hi, kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years. KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish. If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue. We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component. Greetings Christoph Cullmann
