Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) To simplify and speed up the access to the bookmarks tree I think would be great a panel like the "Add Bookmark" (with obviously also the bookmarks) and with only a simple search features; I suppose that the focus positioning on the tree after a keypress should be enough Additional features should be: - A hide/un-hide (/ ) filter field with the same behavior of the Search in the "Bookmark Editor" - The panel would remember his dimension - The tree would remember the open/close branch in the tree
While I see no reason this feature couldn't be added I do question the utility of it. Can anyone comment on how common the use of Konsole's bookmark feature is, let alone a potential extension to it?
It seems as if the demand is not that big. If other people are interested in a search feature for konsole bookmarks. I will mark this issue as wishlist. Note: I am no maintainer but from the bugsquad (https://phabricator.kde.org/tag/bugsquad/)
bookmarks editor already has a search
Everything under konsole->Bookmarks is from the KBookmark framework. I do think that Konsole mis-uses it framework.
