Description greatbunzinni 2009-01-28 16:24:36 UTC
Version: 1.11.0 (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

A tooltip pops up when moving the mouse cursor over the folders presented in the folder panel. Due to the size of the tooltip window and the rate at which the tooltip is redrawn while the user is moving the cursor the folders, it quickly starts to become very annoying. The redundancy, and therefore the irrelevance, of the information displayed in the tooltip (total number of messages, unread messages, folder size, name of said folder) also contributes to the negative experience the tooltip forces upon kmail's users.

It would be nice if there was an option to disable the folder panel tooltips.
