Description usrrgt 2009-01-27 18:23:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

GNOME replaces unsupported characters with "_" character automatically ( http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.24/#rnusers.nautilus ).

This request is to implement the feature in KDE, but in different way.

By default, KDE must show a notification when the file isn't compatible with destiny file system. The notification must show this options:

- "Automatically always replace all files with "_" character".
- "Go to config". This opens a config to enter a specify character. When the user applies changes, the copy must continue. This option must be accessible in a Dolphin/Konqueror's config menu.
