If you open a fodler thru the Desktop KIO Slave (Desktop:/), Dolphin is unable to open a ZIP file.

When you browse the filesystem without a KIO Slave with Dolphin, when you open a zip file, you can see the contents of the zip file directly inside Dolphin and interact with it (zip://).

If you open it thru a Desktop link (Desktop://) the default external application for .zip will be kalled (e.g. ark).

This is probably thru to other KIO slave too and Konqueror.

Thanks for the report, I just tried it within KDE 4.2 and everything works fine here :-) Please reopen the issue if you still face an issue with KDE 4.2.
