Version: 0.5 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), 4.2.0-1.fc10 Fedora) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.9-163.fc10.i686 The usability and the elements disposition in KRandr is a bit weird. In fact with default size you always get the "Resolution" and "Refresh" drop down menus cutted (you cannot read the whole resolution), at least with the italian language set. Moreover I think it's not mandatory to put "Resolution" and "Refresh" in the same line. My suggestion is: put "Resolution" and "Refresh" on separate lines and put the "Orientation" drop down box next to its text. The text should be aligned on the right. Take a look to Kwin's "Desktop Effects" "General" tab for a good example. If you need more help please contact the usability team: they for sure know better than me what's good to do.
Could you please post a screenshot of your problem, because I think it is fixed in trunk.
Created attachment 38005 [details] KRandr screenshot. Here's how KRandr looks like in KDE 4.3.2 with 1024x768. You can see the text is truncated: "Aggiornament" instead of "Aggiornamento:", and Refresh rates in the drop down menu are unreadable if you don't enlarge that part of the screen. I can see no point in putting "Resolution text", "Resolution drop down menu", "Refresh text" and "Refresh drop down menu" in the same line, and, on the contrary "Orientation text" and "Orientation drop down menu" in different lines. It shoul be something like this instead: http://blog.uninstall.it/2009/10/31/designing-good-user-interfaces-1-label-alignment/
Created attachment 38198 [details] trunk That is the way it currently looks like on my machine (trunk). If this is what you thought about then this bug could be closed.

No need to say thanks, it wasn't me who did that. :)
