Version: 0.9.4 (using 3.5.10 "release 21.11" , openSUSE ) Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.7-9-default When decorating an image with a text. You resize it until it looks correct, then press OK. Now it shrinks... I wonder if this is because the image is scaled to fit window and not to 100% but the text is shown at 100%.
How much does it shrink? There is some inaccuracy because the image is, as you mentioned, scaled to fit the window. Right now we can not change this, but we will redesign the image editor toolwindow in the future. One goal is to have zooming everywhere, and then the problem you described here should be gone. For me it does shrink only 1-2px, not more. This is quite not noticable here. have you noticed a bigger scaling? If so, can you try with the latest digiKam release, to see if the problem still exists? Andi
Any news here? Andi
Roger, Do you see comment #1 from Andi ? Gilles Caulier
It was a lot more than a few pixels - using a large font probably 80pt. I can not reproduce this anymore... (1.9.0)
