Description Bernard Lang 2009-01-24 19:35:12 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #142957 +++

Version: 1.0rc7 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 41.2" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.18.8-164-default

I can't copy this DVD 'CREATURE_COMFORTS_D1'.. see attachment for output.
----------------

I run into the same problem while doing a backup on hard disk. K3b fails to retrieve CSS keys, and to decrypt, while other software (K9copy) do not complain on the same data.
You classify this as UNCONFIRMED. Can you say why?

I found the bug report while searching the web for an explanation.
Furthermore I thought the algorithm worked in all cases.

K3b Version: 1.0.4
KDE Version: 3.5.9
QT Version: 3.3.8b
Kernel: 2.6.24.7-desktop-2mnb

Apologies for possible mistakes
It seems to me that any bug classified as UNCONFIRMED should have 3 words of explanation as to why it is not, since it was believed a bug in the first place.
But I have no first hand experience of the other side of the system.
