Description Diego 2009-01-24 14:20:45 UTC
Version: 2.12 (using 4.1.96 (KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)), 4.1.96-9.fc10 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.9-163.fc10.i686

I know there are several bug reports about drag and drop in Ark but most of them are marked as fixed and this particular issues doesn't match perfectly the other reports; so I file a separate report.

When dragging a file or a directory (or a group of them) from Ark to another folder in the same Ark panel the cursor tells that you cannot move it. I cannot find any other way to move files and directories inside an archive.

This is more severe because of bug #181749 : being unable to add files in a subdirectory means that there is no way to add a file in a subdirectory without recreating the archive from scratch.

Actually, I'd say this is a corollary of bug 181749 - you can't move files and folders _because_ of the mentioned bug (you'd probably need to recreate the archive, to begin with).
