(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: unknown Version: 2.0 Severity: wishlist Installed from: RH 7.0 rpms Font Schemes: There are no font schemes like color schemes in KDE! There should be some font styles and schemes available to the user to which s/he could use whenever s/he likes it. And there should be some of these 1. KDE standard (default) 2. KDE standard (large) 3. KDE True Type (using TTF fonts). The true type font schemes should be available but should get enabled when the fonts are installed. As you know True type fonts are good looking than bitmapped ones. Location in KControl: The "Font Schemes" should be placed at "Preferences->Look & Feel->Fonts->Schemes". By the way KDE 2.x looks very beautiful with Arial and Times New Roman fonts (my opinion). Thank you. Yours truly Rizwaan. (submitted via bugs.kde.org)
I would like it if font schemes existed in KDE4
This may be the oldest bug I've seen in our Bugzilla, wow. I don't think it's going to happen, sorry. Changing the font is pretty darn easy now, so I don't think there's a lot of value in making "font themes".
