This backtrace looks similar to some backtraces posted on bug 169925 (however, not related to the original backtrace)
Yeah, I'll try to reproduce the bug with stand-alone KMail. Should I move to bug 169925 and mark this one duplicate?
Some backtrace in bug 169925 could not be related to that original bug report itself, so let this report as it is. Thanks

Thank you for your report. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained and the code has changed sufficiently in Kmail2 so the backtraces are not really useful anymore. Should you experience the same crash in Kmail 4.8.5 or later, please open a new report for Kmail2. Thank you for your understanding
Seems to work very stable in kmail2 on KDE 4.9.3, plus ther haven't been crash reports concerning this for a while. So this has obviously been fixed anyway.
