Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources There is a little story how to make plasma froze completely. 1. Go to Amarok 2.0.1 and start playing last.fm personal streams 2. If you are lucky (these days I am) you will get Amarok froze after a few tracks. Froze here means that although UI responses to my actions but fails to play anything that I ask it (even files from my disk) 3. Obvious action is to try restart Amarok. Right click on Amarok's icon in system tray and choose to close it. 4. Boom - the icon is still there and the whole plasma is froze so it does not respond to any actions. I can reproduce this bug with 100% accuracy as soon as I reach second step.
I've managed to freeze Amarok again (it's very annoying btw). This time I tried to close Amarok with crtl+q. The effect is the same - froze plasma. It looks like this bug is rather severe if it can be that single application can block the whole plasma making desktop completely unusable.
