Description Lars Gjesse Kjellberg 2009-01-18 00:47:49 UTC
Version: 4.1.96 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

If the option "Before doing a suspend action, wait ..." option is ticked in the Powerdevil GUI, the daemon correctly shows a notification popup saying that the system will suspend in the configured timeout.
However, the system never suspends.
Suspend works correctly if the abovementioned option is not used.
This affects both inactivity timeout as well as lid close action.

The problem is also described here:
http://drfav.wordpress.com/2008/12/28/some-updates-and-infos-for-packagers/

but there doesn't seems to be a KDE bug report for it yet. So, here it is.

There is already, since it's related to 177154, we're almost done on it.
