I want to use ALT+TAB to switch back to desktop while Im playing games in fullscreen mode. Currently this isnt possible as only an icon for the game itself is displayed. I have then to leave the game. As a workarround I keep another program open in the background where I can switch to. It would be very nice if an additional icon named "Desktop" for instance could be added.

As a workaround you can add the "Show Desktop" plasmoid to your panel/desktop and configure it to activate on some keyboard shortcut, to quickly return to the desktop
