Description Jeremy Sanders 2009-01-16 16:31:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When Okular prints PDF files containing hyperlinks (e.g. generated by latex/dvips or pdflatex), it prints out the green or red rectangles which should only be displayed on the screen. I think this was previously a bug in kpdf which has reappeared.

Please see this example PDF file:
http://arxiv.org/pdf/0811.0743v1

The file shouldn't show green boxes around references or red boxes around internal links.

It currently makes arxiv.org papers unreadable on printout.

What is the version of your poppler-qt4 library?
Comment 2 Jeremy Sanders 2009-01-16 17:28:31 UTC
poppler-qt4-0.8.7-1.fc10.x86_64
Comment 3 Pino Toscano 2009-01-16 17:38:49 UTC
Please update to poppler 0.10, the bug is in poppler and it has been fixed since that serie.
Comment 4 Jeremy Sanders 2009-01-16 17:40:50 UTC
Thanks - I'll file a fedora bug to get poppler updated in Fedora 10.
Comment 5 Rex Dieter 2009-01-16 18:30:20 UTC
Any possibility to consider fixing this in poppler-0.8.x too? There's almost zero chance of a fedora update to poppler-0.10 that breaks abi.

nevermind, looks like we've a 0.8 workaround in the meantime.
