OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

All messages from inbox disappear when checking a gmail imap account. They can be found in "All Mail".
This happens with imap and disconnected imap.

Thanks for your bugreport. We need more information, like:

* What means all messages from inbox? All the gmail messages? Other accounts messages?
* What means when checking a gmail account? It happens the first time you configure a gmail account and press check new mail?

The All Mail is the gmail folder for the incoming mail.

I think the mails are handled now in a different way (from previous versions), keeping them in their account folders unless a filter moves them to inbox.

We need that info

Sorry, but after one year I don't really remember what exactly happened.
I am now on KDE 4.4 and it does not happen any more.
Anyway, every time I checked for new emails they appeared first in the inbox and then disappeard but where still available in "All Mail". I know that "All Mail" contains all mail. The only thing I noticed was that kmail behaved different from Thunderbird for example which showed new email in inbox.

Well, if it is not happending anymore, that is even better. Sounds as this is fixed.
