Description Karel Kozlík 2009-01-14 13:14:34 UTC
Version:           2.0 (using 4.1.96 (KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)), Kubuntu packages)

 Hi,
thanks for great application. But I have problems with playing DVDs. The position slider is usualy disabled, so I can't move forward/backward in the movie. Also the 'Go 10% forward' and 'Go 10% back' keys do not work.

When I toggle to menu and back to movie (with double R key), the position slider is sometimes enabled. I also noticed some situations when 10% forward/back keys works, but position slider is disabled. It seems the enabled/disabled state of position slider to be quite random. It does not seem to be any related error on the console. The console displays many following errors during playing movie, but I guess they are not related to this problem:

*** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in ../input/libdvdnav/nav_read.c:356 ***
*** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 ***

*** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in nav_read.c:356 ***
*** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 ***

Btw. the keys for previous/next chapter works, but when the disk contains more titles, this key always switch to first title, altought I was playing e.g. third title.

Thanks in advance,
Karel

I find that if I pause and then resume playback, the position slider then becomes enabled.

Can you please confirm if this still happens to you? I tried to reproduce the bug here, but everything worked fine.

Closing; there's been no response from the reporter and it works fine here. If the problem persists, please reopen the report.
