Description Javier 2009-01-12 20:01:51 UTC
Version: KDE 4.2 Beta 2 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I was going to open an attached pdf file from an IMAP account, selected Open with Okular and it started downloading.
Then I closed Kontact main window, expecting it to keep working on background and open the file after it was downloaded, but instead it crashed with signal 11 (SIGSEV)

This is the backtrace:
Aplicación: Kontact (kontact), señal SIGSEGV

This look like bug 136145, however it should be fixed since a long time ago in KDE4.2. Is the IMAP account a GMAIL one , if it does, it may be related to bug 171448
Comment 2 Javier 2009-01-12 22:28:16 UTC
No, it's a Granada's University email account.

However, I also have a Gmail account on Kmail, if that can create any trouble.

Javier: can you still experience this crash with KDE 4.2 ?
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2009-02-14 19:46:31 UTC
Mixing sentences is bad :)

The question was :

"Do you still experience this crash with KDE 4.2 ?"

sorry.
Comment 5 Javier 2009-02-17 13:02:59 UTC
No, I haven't experienced it again... I think you can close this.

Thank you for your feedback.
