Description curtze 2009-01-12 17:24:06 UTC
Version: 2.0.1.1 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Similar to Bug 130196 in version 1.4 (?).
Previous version of 2 was working correctly. Today I upgraded (kubuntu) to amarok 2.0.1.1. Everything looked fine, but after having changed the collection, the collection was not correctly updated (removed tracks were still shown). Then I did a rescan of the collection while amarok was playing a song. Since then my collection database is completely messed up. Songs are shown correctly, but album, artist and so on are taken from other songs in the collection.

Which version of Kubuntu?
What happens if you move .kde/share/apps/amarok?

Kubuntu 8.10 AMD64 bit.
Removing .kde/share/apps/amarok solves the problem, but all statistics are lost. I tied to import an old collection DB from 1.4 (which I have backed up in case of). Import causes crashing of amarok.
