Hi,

It would be nice if Digikam could compute the 35mm equivalent focal length of   pictures when the field is missing in the exif.
For instance if you take a picture using Canon EOS 400D at 20mm , it should fill in the 35mm equivalent focal length field of the database with 32=20*1.6.

This is definitivly a job for Exiv2. What do you think about ?

35mm focal length eq. is show since a long time by Exiv2 in digiKam metadata viewer.
