Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs I tried 3 MAC widget: Aquarium, Countdown and Aviation Weather. None of them worked. The installation was correct: it was added in the plasma list. I added them, and I was able to see the new box on my desktop. But it was only an image, I was unable to configure it nor use it. It was only like a fix image of the widget. I search a lot on internet, and nobody seems to have problems with the mac widget... Can you help me? Thanks
The problem is most probably the missing javascript files from apple. Apple has a few base javascript files that the widgets use. Only one or two have been reimplemented so far for plasma. The problem is probably that most c++ coders don't know javascript, so somebody has to step in an create those files.
i have no Mac OSX applet, can someone tell the status of this bug please ?

From bug 208258 : When I add widget from macos : http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/transportation/sbbquicksearch.html or the french rail widget : http://www.ter-e-services.com/widget_prochainsdeparts/ When I click add, the dialog is closing, but nothing is happening, and the widget never appears in the list
Mac OS X Dashboard widgets aren't working on Kubuntu Lucid 64 bit, Kubuntu Maverick 64 bit and in Linux Mint 10 64 bit KDE4 version (with KDE4.6) as well (package: plasma-scriptengine-webkit) All widgets install correctly, but nothing is displayed if you add them on your desktop, only some messy input fields on a transparent background. Example widgets considered: TimeScroller http://www.timescroller.com/Widget.html CurrencyConverter http://www.palple.net/widgets/currencyconverter/index.html
there hasn't been enough interest in these widgets (either in usage on Plasma or widgets created for MacOS that are sorely missing on Plasma) and so nobody has picked this up yet ... it's not going to happen :/
