Description doc.evans 2009-01-07 20:49:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I loved the "most used applications" feature in the KDE3 K menu; it saved a lot of time/aggravation.

Please consider adding this function to the KDE4 classic menu plasmoid.

I'd like this too. Most used applications is really useful.

Yes, bring back "most used applications"! The supposed replacement - the "Favorites" submenu - is not even a close equivalent in terms of functionality.

Hi
I agree and hope it was just not done yet and not trashed.
Just I've been finding things are just getting trashed:(
weird too neither menu has the menu editor on the right click on and app.
that has allays been extremely useful. Short cut to the app in the editor and not having to search for it .

Hello!

This feature request was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this feature request is already implemented in Plasma 5, or is no longer applicable.

Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this feature request. If the requested feature is still desired but not implemented in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting

If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging

Thanks for your understanding!

Nate Graham
