Description Dotan Cohen 2009-01-06 14:59:14 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

It would be nice if Dragon has the ability to sort video files as one does audio files in Amarok. For instance, a tree hierarchy like Amarok's side pane, or tagging such as in Digikam. I envision the user changing the video's name and location in the hierarchy tree without affecting the actual filename or path.

This could even be integrated with Akonadi so that one could easily tag videos with contacts in Kaddressbook, and with events in KOrganizer. Then, the user could simply open the event in KOrganizer and be presented with a list of video files shot at that event.

Dragon Player is supposed to be a simplistic video player.

If you want a more complex video manager, maybe try Bangarang.
