Version: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101)) "release 1.1" (using 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101)) "release 1.1", KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.7-9-default In help viewer part of KDE Help Center window (on right side of window) is always visible unnecessarily horizontal scroll bar. This scroll bar is always scrollable about 10 pixels and their size do not depend on content or windows size. If i resize window (or maximize) scroll bar is always visible and scrollable about 10 pixels. Bug is visible on these screens http://picasaweb.google.com/milan.krivda/KDE4Bugs# (akregator1.png, akregator2.png files) I seen this bug in all KDE Help Center releases based on qt4/kde4.
I can't reproduce this bug here using: Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 958974) KDE: 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) kdelibs svn rev. 968443 / kdebase svn rev. 968445 on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.3 Can you still reproduce it with a current KDE version? Thanks
$ khelpcenter --version Qt: 4.7.0 KDE: 4.6.95 (4.7 RC2) KDE-Hilfezentrum: 4.6.95 (4.7 RC2) Not reproducable here, even with a very small window. I never get a unnecessarily horizontal scroll bar. Only in case of screenshot wider than the actual khelpcenter window a horizontal scroll bar appears and allows me to scroll to see the whole image.
Closing the bug because it can't be reproduced anymore in recent versions of KDE. Feel free to reopen it if you are able to do so in KDE 4.8.3 or later.
