Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2009-01-04 04:14:11 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When you have a folder with lots of files in it and you want to quickly jump to a particular file, you can press, for example the "F" key.
Then Dolphin will jump to the first file that starts with "F".

The problem is: Dolphin doesn't do that exactly...
You need to press the key twice, before Dolphin scrolls to the file. Dolphin will select the first file though, but it won't scroll to the file, until the second file is selected (the second key press).

Also if there is a file whose first character is not used by any other file too, dolphin will never scroll to that file automatically.

This only happens when you use the icons view.

sorry for my english, I wrote this bug report in a sleepy condition^^
