After having set font settings, they aren't effective in conversations.
Tested with jabber and msn, twice have the same behaviour.

The font settings are shown for me but received as default font.

This screen shot doesn't tell us anything about how your fonts are set up. Can please describe the settings you're using?

I think this bug has returned to KDE 4.3.

Cannot reproduce in KDE SC 4.4 it also should work in KDE 4.3.2 or later IIRC.

I still see this bug on KDE 4.4.3 (Kopete 1.0.0).
