Version: 0.9.2-final (using 3.5.7 "release 72.9" , openSUSE 10.3) Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.18-0.2-default Batch resizing images only works to an album. The dialog that opens to select a "Target Folder" is inconsistent with this behaviour as is the label of the text box. What I did: - I have my pictures in /foo/album (outside ~) - I selected ~/tmp as "Target Folder" in the "Batch Resize Images" dialog. => The exporter complained about this not being in the album path (it did that on each individual image: rather annoying for 100+ images) Since resizing is a typical export operation, it would be very nice to export to any directory (I don't intend to keep pictures in various sizes in my database). Same might be true for recompressing.
ok, reproduce with latest release
this is an error from digikam ( from KipiInterface::addImage() )
Created attachment 78570 [details] patch for resize images by making changes in kipiinterface
I dont think its a valid bug anymore. The Batch Resize has been moved to batch queue manager now, and it has been handled very well there. Smit
So this bug should be closed, isn't it
Yes, with BQM resize tool we can manage items from more than album at the same time...
