Version: 0.8.5 (using KDE 3.5.9) OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux there is no good way to store a customer identification number with a bank, you have to either (ab)use one of the other fields when creating a bank or add it to an account at the bank
Moving this wish to kmymoney4.
Is the customer identification separate from the account number? For example, I have multiple accounts with Merrill Lynch, and have previously had both checking and savings accounts with more than one bank, but am not aware of any such ID. I do know the savings and checking accounts had a common "base" number, with the two being distinguished by a "suffix" on that, but don't know of any reason to explicitly identify that common prefix. Is there actually a use-case here?
I still don't know exactly what was being requested here. If someone can clarify what is wanted, great. If not, this will get closed in a month.
