Version: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) (using 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-9-generic I think there is a regression here. don't get me wrong. I think kde 4.2 is a great improvement. but I miss konqueror. I thought we're suppose to have the choice between dolphin and konqueror. but the icon view and the list view are managed with the same code base, therefor there is no difference. - where is the info view? I used to be able to sort images by image size (not file size) - where is the tree view? - and please rethink when do I need to double click in the columns view.
Please file only one wish per report and try to give a meaningful summary to help developers find their way. - The info view is still missing. - The tree view is most likely what you get by pressing F9. - I don't get what you mean by "double click in the columns view". I'm changing the summary to reflect the first wish. Please file a separate report explaining your third wish. Please keep in mind that bugzilla is not the place for discussing ideas (that's what the mailinglists are for). Please also try to be more specific asking a developer to "rethink" is certainly not a proper wish - rather specify what you want and why.
not only the image size. yes, it was very useful info, but what is actually missing is the "Info View" thanks
4.10, image size still not on the "Detailed view" this was a nice feature of 3.x
using Plasma 5.19.x I add the Width/Height columns I select an image I see the width/height meta data on the side panel but the columns dont have width/height values
AFAICT, image dimension information relies on the KBalooRolesProvider, i.e. the files need to be indexed by Baloo for this to work. Is it possible to set up Baloo to index image resolution info without having to enable full content indexing for all files?
