Description Cédric Brun 2008-12-27 12:48:26 UTC
Version: 0.9.3 (using 3.5.9 "release 49.1" , openSUSE 11.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.18-0.2-pae

Hi,

As an end user I'm missing a killer feature in Digikam (which is already a very nice app :) ) .
I often have to transfert my pictures from my SD card to my library, and as the SD card is not often cleaned up, then I've got many pictures on it I can't even know wether I transfered them already or not.

I have the feeling Digikam have all the information needed to tell me whether this picture already is in the library or not. I'm not even speaking about fuzzy search of similar images, just about telling whether this exact image is in the library or not (MD5 sum or something like that would do the trick.)

Thanks and keep up the good work !
