I am not sure which area is responsible for this but the problem is that the device notification isn't detecting my music CDs (original and I tried several). They aren't showing up in Dolphin or the music players on KDE 4.2 Beta2 either.
If I log out and the log in with KDE 3.5 then I can play my music CD so i don't think that it's a distro problem.
DVDs are working fine and data CDs are also OK. It's only music CDs that aren't mounting.
